Vanessa Hammond

Vanessa qualified as a solicitor in 1995, after obtaining her degree from the University of Kent at Canterbury, completing her finals at the College of Law in York and then her two year training contact with Argyles solicitors in Tamworth, Staffordshire. She remained at Argyles for a further three years specialising in personal injury work and commercial litigation. After a short career break to start a family, Vanessa taught legal practice at GLOSCAT before joining this firm in 1999.

Vanessa now deals with most of the firm's litigation, matrimonial and will writing work. Recently she has developed a particular interest in asset protection and the provision of long term care for the elderly.

With two small children she has little time to pursue her own hobbies but does, whenever possible like to ride and swim. She also finds time to make an occasional appearance at the BNI meetings.
